Oriented to mountain views of the Continental Divide, the Welcome Lodge offers a distinctive introduction to the Anthem Colorado community of 3,100 homes, as landmark for the first – time visitor. The building is a popular gathering place for residents to use for parties, meetings, and classes. The Lodge immediately establishes the community identity and “Colorado Experience” by engaging the surrounding landscape and lake edge with fin walls, stone terracing, and cascading waterfalls. The interior has a contemporary “rustic” style with exposed wood beams and stone fireplace. Plaza areas, suspended decks, trellises, and outdoor fireplace emphasize the indoor/outdoor experience.
