Landscape Designers/Planners – Atlanta Studio & Boulder Studio

Entry Level position (2 offered): Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up and have strong hand graphic skills. We are looking for a team player who brings passion, artistry and positive energy to our design firm. The ideal candidate would have the following attributes:

  • Strong design and graphic skills
  • Positive attitude and great communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Auto CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up, and Microsoft Office

3-6 Years: Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketch-Up and have strong hand graphic skills along with the ability to direct others and oversee small projects and/or portions of larger projects. We are looking for a team player who brings passion, artistry and positive energy to our design firm. The ideal candidate would have the following attributes:

  • Strong design and graphic skills
  • Ability to motivate and lead production teams
  • Self motivated
  • Ability to assemble SD and DD level packages
  • Positive attitude and great communication skills
  • Attention to detail
  • Proficiency with Auto CAD, Adobe Creative Suite, Sketch-Up, and Microsoft Office

Urban & Residential Planners: We are also seeking Planners at key positions including entry level, junior and senior project managers who will bring passion, artistry and creativity to our community design planning studio. Experience to include:

  • Visioning and Site-specific Planning experience including mixed-use, residential and/or resort environments
  • Exceptional graphic and layout skills for packages and booklets
  • Excellent hand and/or computer graphics with proven skills in AutoCAD and Adobe Suite
  • Strong site planning and grading skills with an ability to understand architecture and site integration on steep terrain
  • Understanding of community and site planning standards, submittal and entitlement processes
  • Sketch-Up, Site Modeling and Rendering skills are a plus

Architecture opportunities – Atlanta & Boulder Studios:

Entry Level to license track intern architects:  1 to 5 years’ experience, proficient in Revit, Sketch-Up, Adobe Creative Suite, (AutoCAD experience a plus) and have good hand graphics skills. We are looking for someone who is a team player bringing passion, artistry, and positive energy to our design firm. 

Project Manager:  5-20 years of experience who bring excellent project delivery skills.  Ideal applicants should be able to balance design creativity with solid construction knowledge, have an organizational focus and Revit proficiency.  Being able to express design thoughts through hand sketching, Sketchup and the Adobe Creative Suite is desired.  Leadership qualities will be expected.  Experience in DTJ’s areas of focus of primary housing is required.
