ATLAS Center

Location: Boulder, Colorado
Client: University of Colorado at Boulder

The ATLAS Center is a technologically integrated, multi-use learning facility for the University of Colorado. As Architect-of-Record for the Alliance for Technology, Learning, and Society (ATLAS), DTJ coordinated a team of nationally-known design consultants. The campus master plan calls for the ATLAS Center to be the first of four new building components in a much larger academic “super block” in the historic heart of the campus. The 66,000 square-foot ATLAS Center includes technologically enhanced classrooms, lecture halls, offices, and multi-purpose performance/production studios. All learning spaces include the latest audio, visual, telecom, and data technology systems. It has earned the first LEED Gold Certification at the University of Colorado.
