Midtown is a boutique neighborhood just 5 miles from downtown Denver and conveniently connected by a regional trail system and soon, light rail. The neighborhood includes community gardens, a dog park, Garden Shed Community Center, and retail. The architecture of the homes, inspired by Mid-Century design, is carried through the interior of the homes. The “Spirit” of Residence Two evolved around a central courtyard bringing light to the entire floor plan (essentially one room deep). Full use of the side yard, accomplished with use easements, extends the generous courtyard the full length of the home. This provides the resident with usable yard space rather than leftover drainage corridors. As you enter the home, a dedicated foyer provides a garden view and delightful entry. The simple great room is bathed in light, with direct courtyard connection. A split landing stair enhances privacy and creates a “journey” to separate levels for guest and master suites. Generous his & her dressing areas envelop the unique master bedroom, and the adjacent Master Retreat is a delightful “conservatory” inside and out.
