North Gold Rush Redevelopment

This affordable housing project features a 3-level structure included within the redevelopment of a skier parking area at one of Colorado’s premier ski destinations. The studio apartments are targeted toward ski area employees and local residents in Breckenridge. Common resident amenities include shared kitchens and dining, social areas, and out of unit storage lockers. The mountain aesthetic will complement the surrounding environment and provide much-needed affordable housing, enhancing the community’s character and vitality. This project incorporates modular construction that minimizes cost, labor, and construction waste, leading to a more efficient building. Redevelopment of the skier parking area includes lighting enhancements, preservation of existing mature trees, and new landscape treatments and pedestrian circulation.
