DTJ Announces Two New Associate Principals
At DTJ, the strength of our work comes down to the people behind it: designers, architects, and planners who bring curiosity, craft, and a genuine investment in the communities they shape.
Today, we’re proud to recognize two people who embody exactly that.
Ian Wilson Joins as Associate Principal
We’re pleased to welcome Ian Wilson to the firm as an Associate Principal. Ian brings nearly two decades of experience leading complex resort and mountain community projects, with hands-on involvement from early design and entitlements through construction and client service.
His practice is grounded in approaches built to last: all-electric, passive, and mass timber design methods that reflect a real commitment to how and where people live. He puts communication and collaborative process at the center of his work, which fits naturally with how DTJ operates.
A graduate of the AIA Christopher Kelley Leadership Development Program and Co-Chair of the ULI Colorado RETL Product Council, Ian is deeply invested in mentorship and building high-performing teams.
Nathan Pepper Promoted to Associate Principal
We’re equally proud to announce the promotion of Nathan Pepper to Associate Principal.
Since joining DTJ in 2019, Nathan has led an impressive range of projects, from large-scale themed attractions (Fantasy Valley and Evergrande) to luxury resort and hospitality destinations (The Imperial and ULUM Moab), spanning both national and international work. A registered architect in Colorado, his patient, solution-focused approach has had a meaningful impact in elevating DTJ’s work.
