DTJ Announces Two Senior Associate and Associate Promotions

Chase Johnson, Associate Chase has eight years of experience and a strong passion for creating meaningful, memorable experiences through thoughtful design at every scale. With work spanning residential, commercial, and themed entertainment projects, he brings a collaborative, solutions-focused approach to every assignment — contributing to everything from small park and recreation structures to resort developments exceeding 400,000 square feet. Select projects include Baha Bay Beach Club + Water Park, Regency at Montaine Clubhouse, The Imperial, and Breckenridge Wellness Village.
Jen Jess, Senior Associate Jen brings over 28 years of experience across custom residential, production single-family and multifamily homes, built-for-rent, and residential amenity spaces. She specializes in conceptual residential design, project visioning, community design guidelines, marketing, and graphic presentation, with a deep understanding of what goes into a dynamic floor plan, a successful streetscape, and ultimately, a vibrant community. Select projects include: Minto Westlake West, Brookfield Hillcamp Single Family Homes, and Estridge Millbrook Amenity.
Kyle Lynch, Senior Associate Kyle is a land planner with eight years of experience designing residential communities across the southeast and western United States. His passion for bringing outstanding outdoor recreation to people’s front doors drives his designs, and his background in landscape architecture and engineering allows him to find creative, harmonious solutions across environmental, economic, and civil elements. Select projects include Summerlin West, Kinston at Centerra, The Hollows on Lake Travis, The Addie at Westlake, and Gilpin County Comprehensive Plan.
Victoria Placher, Associate Victoria’s passion lies in storytelling and the memorable experiences people create while engaging with our projects — a focus that’s made her an integral part of our themed attraction studio. She is actively involved in developing narratives, designs, project startups, and team management, bringing creative architecture to life through detailed 3D modeling and drawings. Select projects include Baha Bay Beach Club + Water Park, Water World, Fantasy Valley, and The Imperial.
