Experience

David has over 35 years of experience in all phases of architecture on a wide variety of exceptional resort and hospitality projects throughout the US and around the world. Many of these projects focused on the realm of golf, from clubhouses to cottages and event centers at some of the world’s great golf courses. Through this extensive experience he has gained an expertise in golf and resort master planning, programming and function that has led to the successful completion of numerous acclaimed projects. From his early days working on large planning and site design projects, David has developed a strong proficiency for integrating the design of the built environment with the natural setting of these beautiful locations. He has developed an increasing interest over the last 20 years in seeing large projects through from concept design to completion, with an emphasis on the technical side of design and constructability. He has spent a considerable portion of his career focusing his efforts as an accomplished manager of project teams meeting tight schedules, deadlines, budgets, and design objectives with a strong emphasis in contextual design and planning for sensitive sites.
