Experience

Todd offers the client an enthusiasm for creating design solutions that are thoughtful, artistic, and often found in the union of both natural and cultural systems. For more than 25 years, he has nurtured his passion for placemaking, providing opportunities for community, and connecting people to place in unique and meaningful ways. Having a strong understanding of natural systems, seeing the landscape as both artifact and place, enables him to integrate sustainable solutions into his designs. Additionally, his extensive plant knowledge strengthens his abilities to provide sustainable approaches to design. Todd is a detailed oriented project manager whose project types have varied in scale, scope, and location, and include community amenity design, park and open space design, site reclamation, site analysis, and vegetation/habitat mapping. His expertise in project management and combined educational experience has proven invaluable and are evident in his work.

“Design should be a thoughtful, artistic journey, inspired by learning from both the natural and cultural systems, all along, enjoying the bumps in the road. Most importantly, it is connecting people to environment, people to people, and providing opportunities for community.”
