The main design elements of the Tribute include; specialty hardscape paving (to amend one side of the existing plaza), a custom iconic precast concrete column with embedded bronze plaque with a quote and listing the “Atlanta Nine” contributor names and the original “Five-A’s”and Olympic Rings in bronze sculptural form atop the column capital and bronze pedestal. The design also features a matched pair of curved granite clad benches with the “Early Believer’s” names, and a quotation, incised with gold metallic finish in the seat back of the benches, and adorned with etched design motifs from the original “Look of the Games” graphics. Accent lighting and augmented landscape plantings behind the bench enhance the design.
