The entire resort is adjacent to a rugged iron-shore coast line so the landscape design team developed a ‘Better than a Beach’ waterfront experience; a series of tropical lagoons and coves and with sandy beaches and a continuous meandering kilometer-long beachfront promenade. The family side includes pools, beaches, a teen activity area and lagoon, and kid’s interactive water play zone. The adult area features pools and private beach lagoons; a unique design aspect is Stairway to Heaven, a series of seating terraces that ascend over a natural cenote lagoon that leads to the Heaven Bar.
