Midtown “Shed” Community Center

The Shed serves as the Community Center for Midtown, a 184-acre urban infill neighborhood located less than 5 miles west of downtown Denver. The Shed, along with street fronting retail and outdoor pavilion, is surrounded by a 5-acre community garden and dog park.  In lieu of monument signage, the architecture of The Shed is envisioned as a dynamic landmark to denote neighborhood presence.  As a community resource, The Shed, pavilion and associated “back yard” spaces host cooking classes, lectures, concerts and other community events.
