The Ridge at Big Rock

The Ridge at Big Rock community consists of a thoughtful blend of single family, paired homes, townhomes, mixed use, open space, pocket parks, and a city park. Inspired by the iconic big rock in Duvall and translated in a contemporary way, the landscape includes “worked” stone features and quarry  inspired elements incorporated into play features, signage, and community elements. The community-wide pedestrian “connector” runs from one end to the other, weaving pocket parks, city park, and the amenity center together to encourage pedestrian movement and community interaction. Seven park/ open space nodes were located to provide access to all residents in immediate proximity, each with their own landscape identity.

In addition to designing the community, DTJ designed the Ridge at Big Rock Community Clubhouse and the Ridge at Big Rock Park, split into the One-Acre Park and Two-Acre Park. Click the links to learn more!
