The Overlander by Balfour
This high-visibility senior living community has its roots in the pioneering spirit of the West. Drawing on the history of the preserved, on-site structures, the character inspiration is the homesteads found along east-to-west trails in northern Colorado. The arrival is reminiscent of old brick-paved forecourts, where guests are greeted by outdoor adventure areas for family gatherings. The site is organized to take advantage of the adjacent regional trail and creates courtyards for all levels of care. The historic structures are rehabilitated into cottages, an activity check-in stand, and a community room creating a village feel.
Within the community are 116 Independent Living units, 58 Assisted Living units, and 35 Memory Care units with associated amenities and support spaces.
