Union Design Guidelines
The Union Design Guidelines provide the foundation for the site planning, architectural, and landscape character of the community. Union contains four districts: Mixed Use, Mixed-Residential, Civic and Religious, and Single Family Residential. Each district is provided with distinct parameters that cater to the needs and desires of the community and help promote a broad spectrum of uses within each area. These parameters include standards for building massing and material, prototypical elevations, and landscape criteria to best orchestrate the uniformity of each district. The Design Guidelines help both designers and community members to create a dynamic neighborhood with a variety of lifestyle choices, recreational activities, and housing options. General requirements are reviewed and updated by the Design Review Committee (DRC) for the community.
